Another quality bitch of good proportions, like so many bitches today her coat looked a little worse for wear, she has a very typical head, in profile a good outline with good spring of ribs, perhaps a little over conditioned, but she was still a strong mover.

1st Veteran Bitch

Very nice girl, sweet expression and well set on neck. Carrying too much weight for optimum but still managed to move with a spring in her step and a happily wagging tail. Looking at the catalogue afterwards, I realised, I loved her as a youngster but never had the pleasure to judge her before. BV but disappointed she didn't stay to represent the breed in the veteran group.

Super quality bitch, out of coat today but still presented a balanced picture. Really liked her head shape with softest of expression, elegant neck leading to a good front with neatest of feet, strong through the loin with well held topline and super rear angles. Really excelled on the move carrying her head almost level with back and driving around the ring. Best Bitch.

Saturday 3rd August 2019 Paignton (CC) - Mr Frank Kane (Hirontower)

Not in good coat but lovely type and excellent movement, she won this class on these qualities but the bitches from the limit class were in better form on the day.

Saturday 29th June 2019 Windsor (CC) - Mr Richard Morris (Lascoed)

2nd Open Bitch

Six years old and pushed the winner hard but was beginning to shed coat on the day somewhat copiously and this influenced my decision. Another stunning breed example of quality type, super construction, balance and true movement with typical head and tail carriage, white tip on show. Pleasing outline not excessively deep in body as some were in the entry super slightly wedge shaped head and the most attractive and appealing expression presented in tip top solid condition. A most impressive feminine Toller and a great credit to the breed.

1st Open Bitch

5yo bitch in her prime. Is a great example of the breed and was the star today, although she made her handler work very hard for this win. One straight out of the top drawer and when she co-operated it was easy to see why she is so titled. I am not doing the whole "good head, nice lay of shoulder etc." type critique here. She won the breed in great competition so suffice to say she has many positive attributes and very little to dislike. I thought she also looked great in the Group.

Sunday 10th June 2018 Three Counties - Mr Anthony Allen (Allenie)

2nd Open Bitch

On my first walk round I thought this lady would be my winner. Beautiful in head, typical wedge shape, correct breadth and eye shape and well placed ears that gave that appealing expression. Strong through the neck leading into well placed shoulder, standing on well boned legs and neat feet. Correct depth of body for her age, ribs springing nicely, strong level topline. Well-developed quarters with well bent stifles. Excellent tail carriage. On the move she was just on a mission today and charged around the ring, her handler in hot pursuit, unfortunately she just lost her action as a consequence and the class. Delighted to be able to award her Reserve Best Bitch, one I really liked.

Group 4 (Judge: Mr Chris Bexon (Oldfield))

Completing a really good line up, this medium sized typy bitch is all quality, she has a clean cut slightly rounded skull, well shaped muzzle, moderate stop, correct ear set very nice size, good shape to strong well muscled neck, good shoulders, very good length of leg to depth of body, strong level back, relatively short loin, shown in very good depth of coat, covering her body well. Where she is positively eye catching is on the move, her head carriage fairly high, topline dead level and tail carried over the back, showing classic breed characteristic style, she has very good forward reach in profile and plenty of drive in rear quarters a real joy to reward her obvious qualities.
