Definitely a day of quality over quantity today in the ring. Two superb representatives of the breed, standing at the different ends of the scale, which made my BOB decision very hard.
Yearling Dog or Bitch (1 entry)
| 1st | Smith TIVALAKE ANYTHING GOES AT TOLLISTY JW 19 months old compact, feminine bitch, who is maturing nicely. Very well balanced overall appearance. Pretty head with good set of ears and nice almond shaped eyes with kind expression. Good length of neck, well sprung ribs, deep chest, superb angulation front and rear. Level topline held perfectly both in static and on the move. Moved effortlessly around the ring with her tail held high. A little fidgety to begin with but gave her all attention to the handler. Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (1 entry)
| 1st | Fuard TOLLELKIN BAY OF ICE Judged him before and he didn't disappoint this time either. Very nice 3 year old boy, at the top end of the standard, shown in hard condition. Strong masculine head, dark eyes with pleasing expression, nice triangular ears, set correctly. Superb angulation front and rear. Comes alive on the move, with jaunty action and good tail carriage. Topline held beautifully on the move, but unfortunately wasn't as level as it could have been when standing, which costed him the top award today.
