1^st	Hughes ABACOT INTO THE UNKNOWN Handsome compact powerful looking boy with a lot to like about him. Nice head with a kind expression. Leading onto medium length strong neck. Well laid-back shoulders. Deep chest well sprung ribs. Well-muscled throughout. Moved true fore and aft. Unlucky to meet the Open winner on top form but a lovely dog. RBOB
2^nd	Palfrey EUSANIT WILD ATLANTIC WAY Another handsome boy with a kind and intelligent expression. Excels at the front with well laid-back shoulders, forelegs straight and strong. Well-muscled throughout. He has the correct coat and moved with a good reach and drive. Just preferred the compactness of 1 but another lovely dog

2^nd	Ward MELANITTA PALMATA JW This breed certainly has a depth of quality here in the South-West and this is another good example of a nice dog. Such a well-balanced and compact boy with everything in proportion and no exaggeration. Nice head, kind expression, correct eye shape and colour. Well-muscled throughout moved well but just not the drive today of the Veteran but another nice dog.

This 8-year-old boy caught my eye coming into the ring. Masculine head not overdone with a kind expression. He has a deep chest and is well ribbed and well-muscled, he can clearly do a day’s work. Good movement coming from a strong rear drive. Delighted to see him Best Gundog Veteran. BOB and shortlisted in a high-quality Group.
