Judge: Mr David Alcorn (Lourdace/Comalegy)
Best Of Breed | Tivalake Let's Misbehave JW | Newson |
Reserve Best Of Breed | Tollelkin Caife Americano SGWC | Elkin |
It is always a pleasure to judge this lovely breed, however I would like to make just one comment. When asked to move a dog, faster is not always better. Too many were gaited around the ring at far too great a speed which spoils their outline, and the dog compensates by displacing their feet when moving and producing an untidy action. A more controlled steadier gait would suit many of todays exhibits.

Junior Dog or Bitch (6 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Strevens TOLLISTY YOU CAN'T DECLINE Moved the best in this class on the go around and handler moved him at a decent pace throughout to get the best from him. Just a youngster with some growing on and maturing to do of course, I liked him in all departments and he will continue to get better with age I am sure. Shows off his balance and soundness of construction on the free stack, and these attributes are used to advantage on the move where he is sound and accurate. |
2nd | Salmon ACADIABYRNE TIBETAN CORAL Shade stronger and more developed in head than 1 at present, this is another with a good clean outline and well proportioned and angled all through. Nice to go over, presented in good order. |

1st | Salmon ACADIABYRNE TIBETAN CORAL |
2nd | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM DANCER JW Very feminine in outlook and I have to commend the presentation of this b here (as with all from this kennel I might add). Clearly afforded plenty of the right sort of exercise, her weight was absolutely spot on and she is incredibly fit with very well developed first and second thighs |
3rd | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM HARBOUR JW |

1st | Newson TIVALAKE LET'S MISBEHAVE JW This d is lovely to go over, but really excels on the move and his handler gets the very best out of him. Uses every inch of his well constructed body to advantage going around, where he produces a sound economic stride with excellent length of stride, no over-reaching, and accuracy of footfall. In first class order and well handled. In the challenge he just lowered his head and went around with such ease to take BoB. |
2nd | Elkin TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO SGWC Better in head than 1, but a shade shorter in upper arm which was reflected on the move going around where he couldn't quite match 1's length of stride. Another very good typical sort with many positives which took him to RBoB in this good company. |
