Dogs - I would like to express my thanks to the Secretary and Committee for this, my first judging appointment, and to the exhibitors for a quite splendid entry. Nice to see a good entry of youngsters coming through. It must be mentioned that for a Group Open Show the Tollers were the highest numerical entry, what an achievement for this marvellous breed! Bitches - I would like to thank the MWGS committee for inviting me to judge at their lovely show. I was rather surprised at the number of overweight bitches being shown, this is meant to be a working breed and dogs should be fit for purpose. That said, there were also some lovely typical examples of the breed entered.

Junior Dog (5 entries, 1 absent)

1^st	Wakely RIVERWATCHER KAVIKSUK Well put together fully grown boy presented in great condition. Lovely balanced angulation creating sound and parallel movement in all views. Plenty of time for this one to fill out and really come into himself.
2^nd	Hipkiss ERIKACHEN O'RUADH FOR DELTANDAMBA Well boned youngster with correct head, level topline and good angulation. Very well handled and presented. Two months younger than 1 and not quite as mature for me. Would be easy to interchange 1, 2 and 3 on another day.
3^rd	Wright ERIKACHEN DAITHI OF WRIGHTPAW

1^st	Westwood LITTLERIVER'S O'CANADA TO EUSANIT (IMP CAN) Good clean cut skull presenting a quality head shape to a well-balanced overall outline. Correct level head carriage on the move, but still a little loose in front. Shows great promise and still has time to mature.

1^st	Anstead LUX CH RIVERWATCHER ATKA High quality in presentation, substance and structure. Splendid masculine head with excellent ear set, correct eye and friendly expression. Well boned and muscled to present a typical outline. Moved very well, only beaten by BOB. Best Dog and BOS
2^nd	Palfrey FOXDOWN BERTIE ALLSORTS Upstanding more mature dog, presented in quality condition and muscle tone. In tune with handler and moved out well on the day to secure this second place in a strong class.

2^nd	Adshead DANEHAVEN VERMILION FOR AFONBACH SHCM A very pretty bitch with less white. Finer build than 1. Nice movement and good angulation.

1^st	Littlehales MELANITTA AMBROSE OF KAYENDOR RL4 Lovely bitch, good head, ear set and kind expression. Good straight parallel movement with plenty of drive. In good coat.
2^nd	Cox ALLIANCE DE LA VIE RED THISTLE IN ICESTORM (IMP NLD) A bitch I have always liked but unfortunately carrying a little too much weight today. She has a lovely head and good angulation. Moved wide in front.

1^st	Westwood MULTI CH EUSANIT APPLE OF ONE'S EYE JW Took my eye the minute she walked into the ring as though she owned it. She is an excellent example of what a Toller bitch should be with great substance and type. Level back on moving around the ring and superb conformation. Thoroughly deserved her BoB and I was delighted that she was short listed in the BIS Ring.
2^nd	Morgan REDAURORA COMET'S CHRISTMAS OF DELTANDAMBA Another lovely bitch, different in type to 1, much lighter in build. In good condition, typical head with very kind expression and level movement.
