I liked all 3 in this class for different reasons, it will be interesting to see how they develop with time.
| 1st | Adshead AFONBACH SYRAX This young lady has personality plus! Really liked her size and strength in bone for age. Very pretty head with a kind expression, aided by high set ears. Excellent shoulder and upper arm with some forechest. At this stage I would prefer slightly more leg but she has time on her side. Plenty of body for one so young with a level topline. Correctly angled croup with corresponding rear angles and short hocks. Once settled, she displayed a jaunty action from all angles. BP, congratulations! |
| 2nd | Warren AFONBACH DREAMFYRE AT SHORROCKS Litter sister to 1. Slightly more compact and up on her leg than 1 but would prefer a shade more strength in bone. Ultra feminine head with correct shape to skull and muzzle. Well laid shoulder and good upper arm. Plenty of body for her age with a strong topline. Balanced rear angulation. Sound from all angles, displaying breed-typical carriage on the go-round. |

| 1st | Adshead AFONBACH WINTER IS COMING JW One I've done well before, this dog really was on form today. He is unmistakably male. Possessing strength in head while retaining the desired tapering through the muzzle. Well shaped eye and correctly set ears create a friendly expression. Excellent forehand with strong bone. Level topline with a strong loin. Decent rear angles with correct set and carried tail. Powerful mover who makes his presence felt on the go around with true front/rear action. BOB, congratulations! |
| 2nd | Burgess MELANITTA SINAMAY JW A top size bitch with pleasing proportions, an easy shape and ample bone. Her head is clean, showing desired width over the skull with correct tapering to muzzle. Excellent balance of front and rear angulation with a well-developed middle piece. Strong topline with correct length/angle to croup and width over the pelvis. Covers the ground well with a spring in her step from the side and sound going/coming. RBOB, congratulations! |
