It was a pleasant change to attend a Gundog Show and I think the committee for the invitation. Having often met this lovely breed in Imported Register with the GBGV I have followed their journey which was close to that of the GBGV.

Puppy Dog (1 entry)

1^st	Smith TOLLISTY RAUDR Lovely young 6 month old puppy.. Good head and eye and correct earset. Sufficient neck and well let down for age. Good knuckled feet. Carried his well set tail correctly and used his hindquarters in a good strong stride. Still a little loose in front movement.

1^st	Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM HARBOUR JW This class headed by my outright winner. A 2 year old with a super shaped head and eye. Correct ears. Strong neck and compact body with a good topline. Well laid shoulders and strong forechest and tight webbed feet. Well ribbed. Moved with strength round the ring using well angulated hindquarterts. Reserve Best Dog He shares a dam with the BOB.
2^nd	Strevens TOLLISTY YOU CAN'T DECLINE Another 2 year old. A smaller dog, so not quite the presence of the winner, but he has a good head and ears. Correct shoulders. His ribbing goes well back and he was another with good parallel hocks and strong hind movement.
3^rd	Rice TOLLERICE EBERLE

1^st	Elkin CH TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO SGWC SHCEX What a superb example of the breed. 4 year old with good head planes. Correct shape to eye and earset. Muscled neck. Good neck and shoulders.. Tight feet. Excellent body shape and topline. Deep brisket and ribs go well back . Hindquarters well muscled and parallel with well bent stifles. Carries his tail high and proud and at the correct height on the move. Best Dog. BOB and delighted to see him go Best In show
2^nd	Bate-Ash EUSANIT HIT THE LIGHTS A 3 year old. This dog was nice for size and type, a little straight in stifle which showed in his hind movement. Good shoulders and feet, well ribbed. Carried his tail too high over his back almost touching

1^st	Strevens TOLLISTY SHINCHA A lovely puppy, litter sister to the dog up but more “together” and tighter in front at the moment. Lovely head. Good ears. Well let down in brisket and tight knuckled feet.. Ribs go sufficiently back. Retained her topline on the move and used her parallel hindquarters well . Best Puppy.
2^nd	Shimwell SERENTAN ARVICOLA This 6 month old baby is extremely raw and very fine throughout.. She was difficult to assess as she did not want to stand still. She was not filled in infront and needs a lot of growing. Moved quite well when she settled.

1^st	Warren AFONBACH DREAMFYRE AT SHORROCKS 15 month old with a pleasing head and ears. Good front and feet. Her shoulders and ribbing are good..She is very lively and made good use of her tail on the move. Nice outline when stood and going round the ring a tad close behind.
2^nd	Sage SLOETREE SPECIAL CUVEE I preferred the broader head and muzzle of my winner here. Upright in shoulder so she moved looser in elbow coming towards me. Good topline. Her hindquarters were correct and she used her tail very well on the move

1^st	Trickett CFYRE'S SPELLBREAKER AT TOLLPEPPER (IMP CAN) A lovely type bitch of 3 with a pleasing head and good ears. She has a strong neck and good front assembly. Ribbing long enough, Steady topline. She has correctly angulated hindquarters. Moved well on strong legs and tight feet. In very good coat. Best Bitch and reserve BOB
2^nd	Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM DANCER JW Another good type bitch. A 2 year old with correct shape head and good ears. Strong front and good feet and topline. Moved well. She could have a little more substance.not helped as she left her jacket at home today. Moved well
3^rd	Warren AFONBACH DREAMFYRE AT SHORROCKS

1^st	Elkin TOLLELKIN WATER DANCER A lovely bitch looking very good for her 8 years. She is of good type and size with correct head planes and ears. Angulation is good. Feet tight and strong legs. Good outline and moved well, she gave way to a younger lady today. Reserve Best Bitch
2^nd	Rice TOLLERICE DANEYKO Heavier bitch of 6. She has a good head and ears. A bit down on her pasterns and hocks are close behind.. She has a super coat and strong topline. Moved well in side gait.

1^st	Trickett CFYRE'S SPELLBREAKER AT TOLLPEPPER (IMP CAN) Duck Toller who I thought was very balanced all through, with a lovely head, well constructed and moved out well. Best Crufts Qualified.

1^st	Elkin TOLLELKIN WATER DANCER turned out to be the 8yrs dam of the BIS! Am not about to be repetitive, save to say that she demonstrated the same functional breed features & structure then, as against other breeds, she insisted on being absolutely parallel with typical spring in her step.

I believe I put him BOB in his formative yrs but today he had to take on the Creme de la Creme across the entire spectrum of Gundog breeds; slight wedge of a head, clean cheeked & with slight taper to muzzle; well angulated; pretty compact with short, level back; broadly based, well feathered & constantly wagging tail; so functionally fit & moved parallel, & so apparently tirelessly, with head correctly carried
