Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge, I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Such a friendly well organised affair in a beautiful setting. I had super dogs to go over. It was a bit hot and stuffy at times so well done to the exhibitors for not keeling over (Tollers). Both breed clubs were kind enough to sponsor classes and the rosettes were stunning.


Puppy Dog or Bitch (1 entry)

11 month b femine slightly wedge shaped head, tight fitting lip. Well set neat triangular ears. Strong neck in to well made front assembly, elbows well in. Straight front legs, standing on tight feet. Good depth to chest for age. Level topline. Close fitting jacket. Well made in the rear and powered around the ring with that typical Toller tail constantly waving. Nicely balanced pup in really fit condition, has it all to come. One to watch. BP

15 month d up to size, very different from the raw puppy I judged at his first show at 6 months of age! Now a well grown boy up to size, masculine head with good length and strength of muzzle. Strong neck and good depth of chest, elbows well in. Nicely marked boy in tip top condition. Happy chap moved out with his tail constantly waving. Unlucky to come up against 1 today who was more positive moving in the rear, age and time should sort this out. Would like to see him in a year or so, expect he will be very different again.

2 year old d of medium size, compact dog with close fitting orange jacket. Masculine head, broad skull, neat triangular ears. Eyes blended well with coat. Strong muscular neck leading in to well laid shoulder. Good spring of rib and strong back, a tad long in loin but strong. Moved soundly in all directions with head almost level with his back. Feet could be a little tighter. I liked this boy a lot and felt he had a lot of nice qualities about him. Unfortunately the heat had got to him when it came to the challenge for RBOB.
2ndRoffey CAMUSMOR CA CANNY WITH ACANUCK
2 year old b up to size, litter sister to 1. different type overall. Taller and rangier than 1. Strongly made b nicely marked with a good head, muzzle of good length and strength. Tidy well set ears and clean muzzle. A little shorter in upper arm than her litter mate. Standing on straight legs with good return of stifle. Deep chest, elbows tucked in. Lovely rich coat. A little unsettled today. Still maturing, another I would like to see in a year or two

4 year old d who just gets better with time. Masculine head, broad skull with good length of muzzle, strong but not course. In gleaming red tones this boy stood out from the rest today, superbly presented. Super front assembly, good spring of rib, lay of shoulder. This boy is balanced throughout and moves fluidly with ease waving his tail all the way. What can I say that I haven’t previously said, he just oozes Tollertude. BOB

6 year old d up to size. Masculine head, good ear set. Strong muzzle. Medium neck leading to well laid shoulder. Well sprung rib. Thick coat casting. Masculine dog of heavier type. A little soft in condition reflected in rear movement. Perked up for the challenge to gain RBOB
