I would like to thank Woolwich, Bexley and District Canine Association for giving me my first judging appointment and inviting me to judge my favourite breed, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. I would like to thank my exhibitors and stewards for tolerating the rain, we got quite the soaking for such a fine mist! A small but quality entry that was quite the family affair, starring mum, dad and two of their puppies. I enjoyed my day and I look forward to seeing these dogs again as a spectator.

1stStrevens SH CH ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW SHCM SHCEX
Sire to both puppies. A quality 5 yo male in his prime. Strong, masculine skull of good proportions with kind expression and excellent ear carriage. Pleasing angulations front and rear, in particular good elbow to brisket placement. Well sprung ribs and well-muscled throughout. Lovely, rich red coat with moderate feathering. Moved well with drive, maintaining a level topline on the move and standing. Best of Breed and thrilled to see him take Gundog Group 2 later on.
2ndElkin TOLLELKIN WATER DANCER
Mother to both puppies, a real family day out! A fine bitch but well-muscled and a nice size. Feminine head and expression. Excellent angulation, particularly rear with good proportions throughout. Moved fluidly, gliding over the ground with ease holding a level topline when moving and handled so well.
