Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge and for an exceptionally well run show, the additional Halloween touches were brilliant. To Gill and Gill, my stewards, thank you for keeping the competitors and my paperwork in such excellent order, no mean feat on either count. Thank you to the competitors, you all gave me some really tough decisions as the standard of the dogs was really high.

Adult Handling (17 - 39 years) Dog or Bitch (2 entries)
Judge: Miss Victoria Wilkins (Velvetquest)
1st | West RAYNECHASER LUNA ECLIPSE BEG EX Isobel West handling a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I really loved Isobel’s style of handling. She did everything I asked of her competently and calmly, using the ring to its full potential to show off the movement of her dog, without compromising on the tight corners or straight lines. Good teeth presentation and excellent shadowing, always standing the correct distance away when presenting the dog back from a pattern. In the BAH challenge she pulled out the stops and did some excellent shadowing and pattern work which meant I couldn’t deny her Best Adult Handler. |
