Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge and for an exceptionally well run show, the additional Halloween touches were brilliant. To Gill and Gill, my stewards, thank you for keeping the competitors and my paperwork in such excellent order, no mean feat on either count. Thank you to the competitors, you all gave me some really tough decisions as the standard of the dogs was really high.

1stHunt WAKADUZE DOTAME
This young girl came in and owned the ring, and was shown in excellent condition. Correct angulation fore and aft, and this showed in her movement. Good reach and drive and good tail carriage. Good outline when stood. Pretty feminine head, with correct earset, eye shape and bite. Nice rich colour. BPIB
2ndCollins & Powley DANEHAVEN LAGRANDE
Still at the very baby stage and this showed in outline as she was standing “bum high” On the move she strode out but was lifting slightly at the front. Very pretty head, and lovely markings, ears and bite correct and very expressive almond shaped eyes. Good angulation. Shown in excellent condition and a lot to like.
3rdFincham DANEHAVEN DESPREUX

It’s all there for this youngster, she just now needs to mature. Pretty wedge shaped head, expressive almond shaped eyes, and correct earset and bite. Strong neck of moderate length, with good front angulation. Moderate bone, straight front legs, nice tight feet. Very well presented. Good movement, with even reach and drive.
2ndHolden WHENOVA ETESIAN
A happy chap who is at the typical gangly junior stage. A pleasant head with a kind expression and correct bite. A glorious tail which he used to great effect on the move. He held a level topline both standing and on the move. Another that needs time to mature.

Dog I’ve done well for in the past and he came up trumps again today. All Toller, from his slight wedged head to his neatly constructed rear with his super hind angulation, found him in super coat, neat and tidy on the move with near perfect foot fall

Adult Handling (17 - 39 years) Dog or Bitch (2 entries)

Judge: Miss Victoria Wilkins (Velvetquest)

1stWest RAYNECHASER LUNA ECLIPSE BEG EX
Isobel West handling a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I really loved Isobel’s style of handling. She did everything I asked of her competently and calmly, using the ring to its full potential to show off the movement of her dog, without compromising on the tight corners or straight lines. Good teeth presentation and excellent shadowing, always standing the correct distance away when presenting the dog back from a pattern. In the BAH challenge she pulled out the stops and did some excellent shadowing and pattern work which meant I couldn’t deny her Best Adult Handler.
