Thankyou to the Club for your invitation to judge at this very well organised show in it's excellent new venue. Many thanks also to my helpful and efficient steward. I was sa�d to see no Gordon Setters entered but enjoyed judging the super NSDT Retriever entry, outside, on a glorious Autumn day.
Junior Dog or Bitch (2 entries)
| 1st | Titovets & Eremin MACDREAMS TRENT FROM CASHEL VALE RL2 (IMP NLD) A super young boy, maturing nicely and in hard condition. Compact with good bone and a rich, dark red coat of the correct type and marking. Good head with friendly and intelligent expression and correct mouth. Well laid back shoulders, strong and muscular with a deep chest. Well muscled hindquarters with correct angulation. His good conformation showed on the move. Movement true front and rear with good reach and drive- topline maintained and correct tail carriage. All the attributes needed to be fit for function. |
| 2nd | Yates MELANITTA MILK AND HONEY AVEC TOLLEROLOGY RL2 BP . A pretty bitch with good double coat and correct markings. Nice feminine head with good ear set and friendly expression. Lovely, strong neck with well laid back shoulders and deep chest. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved well, very together for her age maintained good topline with good reach, a little less drive behind than 1 today |

| 1st | Strevens SH CH ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW SHCM SHCEX What a striking boy, the complete picture of a mature, fit for function gundog. Confident with alert, intelligent expression. Excellent colour and coat. Lovely clean cut head, wedge shaped with tapered muzzle with correct teeth. Muscular neck which flowed into well laid back shoulders. Deep chested, compact body with well muscled hindquarters, correct bend of stifle and neat, round feet, nothing overdone. This boy came alive on the move and it was a pleasure to see him driving out powerfully round the ring looking beautifully balanced throughout. |

Finer boned than 1, but nicely put together with a lovely coordinated action on the move and a spring in her step. Compact body with good shoulders and correct depth of chest, well muscled throughout. Good colour and coat with correct markings |
