1st | Titovets & Eremin MACDREAMS TRENT FROM CASHEL VALE RL2 (IMP NLD) Such a neat package in this 15 month old chap. An appealing, ‘what’s next?’ expression, well proportioned head, especially in profile. Slightly smaller in size, moderate in bone, with beautifully balanced angulation presented in a rich red coat. At first glance he looks a shade long in loin but boy does his movement tell a different story, not putting a foot wrong he travelled the ring in a manner I personally don’t see very often - springy, effortless and not overdone. Great profile movement: one of the best of the day. |
2nd | Byrne LOTTIE ACADIA BYRNE A pretty puppy, just shy of her first birthday and still looking very much a baby. Well proportioned head with the sweetest expression. Good front, was let down by her topline, possibly related to carrying a smidge too much weight - it will be interesting to see how she develops as she matures. BP. |
Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (8 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Newson SH CH TIVALAKE MORE THAN WISHES Such a feminine girl with an expression that warms the heart, framed by correctly triangular ears of medium size and well set on. Another well balanced individual with a gorgeous outline all round, albeit on the finer side. Lovely to watch her move - unwaveringly holding her topline whilst she covered the ground with ease. |

Undoubtedly the most difficult class of the day. I consider myself lucky to have been given the chance to go over such quality dogs and bitches.
1st | Bradley CAMUSMOR KNOCKANDO AT RUDDYDUCK BEG EX RL6-EX . An old man, and showing some signs of this, admittedly, but he still has it! So toller-like, with the best head of the day: wedged, broad, with correctly-sized triangular ears and a kind, gentlemanly expression. The conformation of his front assembly was one of the clinchers today: well laid back shoulders and correct return of upper arm arranged with excellent angulation from the point of shoulder, balanced with the rear. Drawn by his overall outline and size, with a shorter loin than 2 that contributed to the greater picture. Not disappointing on the move: although with the measure of an older gent, his foot placement was spot on, head carried almost level with back and a firm topline held throughout. BOB. |
2nd | Strevens SH CH ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW SHCM SHCEX Undeniably a showman, and with good reason, he certainly catches the eye. Shown in hard condition, another beautiful head with almond eyes and deep expression, framed by larger ears. More open in front angulation and a shorter upper arm than 1, leading into arrow-straight legs on tight feet - testament to his condition. Strong loin but slightly longer and so not as compact as 1. Impressive on the move, though not quite the profile movement today. A close call. RBOB |
