As this was my first judging appointment it was nice to see a good entry of dogs all with nice temperaments and in good condition.
Junior Dog or Bitch (4 entries)
1st | Stobbart & Bartlett CAMUSMOR WHATADREAM SHCM 11 months old. Lovely dog in super coat. Correct ears with a nice shaped head and alert expression. Moved ell but just be careful at slower gait as he tended to pace. That said he had a super topline on the move. A credit to his young handler. BP, BOB. I was very pleased to hear that he went PG4. |
2nd | Mortimore FOXDOWN CECILIA OF MELANITTA Appealing bitch with a nice front when stood correctly. Good eyes with a nice alert expression. Animated on the move with correct tail carriage. |
Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (3 entries)
1st | Mortimore FOXDOWN MY FAIR LADY Nice feminine head and correct ears. Shame she was out of coat. Had a nice jaunty movement. |
Open Dog or Bitch (2 entries)
1st | Mortimore LYONHOUSE BASIL AT CULMGILLIE . In good condition for his age. In nice coat with a lovely rich colour. Good head and expression. Had good muscle tone and moved with drive. A nice old chap but didn’t show himself off as well as my BOB |
2nd | Mortimore FOXDOWN AMBILA Preferred head of winner but had a nice eye and sweet expression. Paid a little too much attention to owner which threw her movement when coming and going away from me. |
