Best Puppy | Trevargh The Entertainer At Brizewood | Harding & Whitehill |
It was pleasing to see the improvement in this breed since I last judged. My top winners were uniform in type. In particular, a number of exhibits were well-balanced and moved soundly. Ears were generally of adequate size and carried correctly. One or two exhibits were a little over-awed by the occasion.
Puppy Dog (5 entries)
1st | Moossun TASARLA SNOW BLIZZARD Initially a little diffident but when settled down to show and move stood out in this class for typical balanced outline. Pleasing head and sound mover. |
2nd | Lovett NEILSHARBOUR DUDDLESWELL At the moment not as balanced as winner. Longer in coupling. |
3rd | Lovett NEILSHARBOUR GILLS LAP |
Res | Stubbs TASARLA SNOW STORM |
VHC | Thayer & Mackay TREVARGH CAROLINA SHOUT |
Junior Dog (4 entries)
1st | Harding & Whitehill TREVARGH THE ENTERTAINER AT BRIZEWOOD 10 month puppy. Imposing presence. Masculine head. Typical outline. Moving well. At the moment his abundant coat makes him look larger than he actually is, but needs not to grow any more. Best puppy. |
2nd | Lovett DANEHAVEN ROGGAN Lively dog. Keen expression. Less body than winner and perhaps not moving as well behind. |
3rd | Rogers EUSANIT TAKE IT EASY |
Res | Palfrey WYLYERIVER WARBLER |
Post Graduate Dog (3 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Bradley CAMUSMOR WHATTABARGIN FOR RUDDYDUCK Typical. Pleasing head. Good substance. Moved well. |
2nd | Gibson PALUDIC YULETIME PRESENT FOR ERIKACHEN More slightly built than winner. Not as balanced or moving as well. |
Open Dog (9 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Smith CAMUSMOR GLEN SCOTIA AT DALLYVISTA Today's star. Lovely outline showing balance and lack of exaggeration. Pleasing head and expression. Nice ears well-carried. Front and rear angulation well-balanced. Good topline. Moved well covering ground well with good reach and drive. Alert and lively and showing very well for his 'substitute' handler. Best dog and BOB. |
2nd | Harding & Whitehill NAROD THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM At 8 years of age still outstanding in the breed. Again very typical in outline. Pleasing head. Good front. Good bone. Not exaggerated in any way. Had to give way to his son who had a little more sparkle and moved with a little more drive. Res Best Dog. |

VHC | Stacey & Copeland NEWFANOVA ELYSIUM OF AVONWHARFE |
