I looked forward to my appointment and I wasn't disappointed. The breed is improving with bitches, at the moment stronger than the dogs. Careful use of available bloodlines available should continue to maintain this improvement. I found sufficient exhibits worthy of their placings sound, full of breed type, not overdone and generally in good condition and well presented. I was delighted to see my BOB take fourth place in the Group, and my BP take fourth in the Puppy Group and the Best Breeders take second in their Group. A great day for the Tollers. The allocations of CCs can't be far away, surely. One criticism, why all the baiting! Some handlers obstructed my view and made it difficult to evaluate their exhibits head and expression and front assembly! Not recommended. Temperament was good, one or two babies at their first show were shy, not unusual, hope they enjoyed their outing. I was very pleased to see the true Toller happy temperament present in many dogs. I love to see it and it is essential to the breed.
