Movement and coats were good on the day, as were temperaments. Sadly many exhibits moved rather close behind.
Puppy Dog (2 entries)
Two very promising puppies.
1st | Hickman FALLOWFEN'S STAR OF PADS This puppy was more mature in body and moved very well. He has an excellent front assembly with well laid shoulders. Straight forelegs and round tight feet. A pleasing head of correct shape. BP. |
2nd | Palfrey FOXDOWN BERTIE ALLSORTS A larger puppy who at only 7 months is immature and needs to grow into his frame. Ears well set and level topline. |
Junior Dog (1 entry)
1st | Smith DECOYMANS PIPER BLAZE A balanced dog with excellent shoulder angulation. Attractive typical wedge shaped head with alert expression and high set ears. Moved soundly. Strong rear quarters, but slightly lacking body substance. Moving a little close behind. |
Post Graduate Dog (10 entries, 3 absent)
1st | Andrews ERIKACHEN RUARI Typical outline for the breed. Lovely deep chest. Strong hindquarters. Pleasing head with ears set high and lively expression. Moved freely and with drive holding a level topline. Feet could be rounder. |
2nd | Parr KYMIN INNUENDO A well made dog with good lay of shoulder. Short and level back. Pleasing head. Moved soundly. |

Open Dog (7 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Harding & Whitehill TREVARGH THE ENTERTAINER AT BRIZEWOOD BD and BOB. The first two dogs in this class were lovely. They have similar attributes. Both have good rear and front angulation, deep chests with well sprung ribs. Tight elbows, straight fronts and excellent double coats. Their heads are as the standard describes them. It was difficult to choose between them, but I felt the younger dog had more drive in movement. |

Junior Bitch (5 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Strevens DECOYMANS PIPER CINDER AT TOLLISTY A lively bitch showing the correct temperament. Front angulation good, balanced by a good bend of stifle and strong rear quarters. Attractive feminine head with lively expression. Correct coat. Moved well on tight round feet. RBB. |
2nd | Russell & Smith RIVERWATCHER YAKONE AT CEDARLAKE A pretty bitch with a pleasing head. Excellent feet. Good lay of shoulder. Moved soundly. |

1st | Parr KYMIN IPSO FACTO A balanced feminine bitch with good front and rear angulation. Attractive wedge head with well set ears giving the right expression. Level topline held on the move. Excellent feet and coat. Moved with reach and drive to win BB. |
2nd | Denton FLANOVA PORT CHARLOTTE This bitch has a strong body with a deep chest and well sprung ribs. I preferred the head on the first bitch. |

Open Bitch (10 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Parr DANEHAVEN EFFINGHAM OFF KYMIN A compact well made bitch. Showing alertness when moving and standing. Body proportions good with strong hindquarters and good lay of shoulder. Deep chest. Attractive head and excellent coat. Sadly in the challenge she was too excited and wouldn't move properly. She insisted on roaching her back. |
2nd | Ward FOXDOWN CHIQUITITA OF MELANITTA A pleasing bitch with good construction, especially in body proportions. I preferred the head on the winner who also was the better mover. |
