Thank you for such a good entry, being second in the ring meant quite a wait and I was sorry to learn that some of you had to miss the gamekeepers class, overall I found the dogs were far better than the bitches, it was sad to see so many lacking in muscle tone. I still found many with short upper arms which gave a short mincing action instead of the lovely reach and drive that the breed should have, many were dipping badly in top line, I found this really disappointing and it does need to be watched, hind movement in some left an awful lot to be desired, it does make one wonder were we are going as a breed!

Veteran Dog (4 entries, 2 absent)

1^st	Burchell PALUDIC PLEASURE TRIP well muscled boy with a lovely head and expression, in good coat and condition he was really enjoying his day out. Good mover.
2^nd	Strevens AQUACADIAN FLIN THE RED AT TOLLISTY Much larger dog who was also in good coat and condition, rather untypical in head and not moving true either front or rear, have seen him move much better, just not his day.

Special Puppy Dog (2 entries)

1^st	Hickman FALLOWFEN'S STAR OF PADS A charming young man with a pleasing head and eye, well bodied and angulated, in good coat, strode round the ring as if he owned it, well presented and handled to get the best out of him BP.
2^nd	Whitehead & Steen GABERLUNZIE BENRIACH A very immature baby who need lots of time and more confidence, he has all the basics.

Special Junior Dog (3 entries, 1 absent)

1^st	Holt RIVERWATCHER K'EYUSH Well grown and in excellent coat which is a lovely rich red colour, pleasing head and eye, good reach of neck fitting into well laid shoulders, well angulated, good bone and feet, would like to see him carry a touch more body, moved very well.
2^nd	Brown STELLENBOSCH JACQUES FROST Built in a smaller frame, nice shaped head, good body legs and feet, coat coming along nicely, not quite the reach and drive of 1.

1^st	Andrews ERIKACHEN RUARI This boy has long been a favourite of mine, lovely head and eye, good neck and shoulders, balanced body, in good coat, well boned and with nice tight feet, handler needs to keep his attention more when standing him, moved well.
2^nd	Loebel DANEHAVEN MCEACHERN Good head and expression, well bodied, good angulations, presented to perfection, in lovely coat and condition, moved very well.
3^rd	Baker ERIKACHEN AONGHUS Litter brother to 1st, has all the same qualities, just preferred head of first.

1^st	Anghileri KITIMAT TASTE OF RUSSET JW An outstanding specimen of the breed, the best conditioned dog of the day, super head and expression, lovely reach of neck set into well laid shoulders, great muscle tone, he was as hard as nails, he carried the correct amount of body weight, in excellent coat, moved extremely well on good boned legs and nice tight feet, well angulated, he was a joy to watch on the move as he drove round, was pleased to award him BD & BOB, his handler knew how to get the best out of him, he did the breed proud in the group ring.
2^nd	Clark FLANOVA GLENDRONACH Much younger dog with good head and eye, not quite the body of 1st as yet, good bone and feet, very well presented and handled, his time will come, moved well.
3^rd	Stobbart CAMUSMOR WHATADREAM One I have judged before, still lots to like about him, pleasing head and eye but just not the coat or body of the one above him.

1^st	Westwood & Johnson CAN/IR SH CH LITTLERIVER'S COLONIAL BOY WITH TOLLYHIMMEL (IMP CAN) Another I like really well, super head and eye, good reach of neck and well laid back shoulders, such a happy boy, just not the hard condition or coat of the limit winner, moved very well. Res BD.
2^nd	La Turner HILLSCOURT BARON THEOBALD Pleasing head and eye, good body, coat and condition, well bodied, moved OK.
3^rd	Hoornaert INT SH CH ALLIANCE DE LA VIE THUNDERCLAP Quite a nice dog with good head and eye, well bodied, not the presence of the 2 above him.

3^rd	Powley JABY LAVENDER AT DANEHAVEN Still retains her lovely head and expression, but sadly dipped in topline.

1^st	Young FALLOWFEN'S SILVER CAIRN I see from the catalogue she is litter sister to PD winner, she has a lovely feminine head and expression, not the body of her brother as yet but her time will come, moved very well.
2^nd	Collins & Matthews GABERLUNZIE ARRAN A very nice puppy with a sweet head and expression, good body legs and feet, moved steadily.

1^st	Russell & Smith RIVERWATCHER YAKONE AT CEDARLAKE Excellent head and eye, good reach of neck and lay of shoulders, nicely bodied, good bone and feet, in good coat and condition, super outline, was pleased to award her Res BB.
2^nd	Anstead RIVERWATCHER IKKUMA Litter sister to 1st good head with sweet expression, has all the basic essentials, all she needs is time to develop, moved very well.

A very mixed class of all ages.

1^st	Widdowson CORLITGOLD TOKALA Won a strong class, built in a slightly larger mould, she has a lovely head and expression, super body legs & feet, in good coat and condition, very well presented and handled, moved well.
2^nd	Collins DECOYMANS PIPER SILVERBELL AT GABERLUNZIE Workmanlike bitch with pleasing head and eye, well bodied, good bone and feet, moved very well.
3^rd	Gibson ERIKACHEN AOIFE DEARG One of the younger ones in the class, good head and eye, I found her rather short in upper arm, good body, legs and feet not as mature as the first 2, moved OK, just needs more time.

1^st	Stubbs ALLIANCE DE LA VIE GILLY'S FELAN OF LORUSTE (IMP NLD) This bitch had the best outline in the class, most lovely feminine head and expression, good neck and lay back of shoulders, just the right amount of body, well angulated quarters, one of the few with a level topline, could have carried a little more coat to advantage but one cannot have everything and I felt construction was far more important, just drove around the ring, was pleased to award her BB. Well handled.
2^nd	Holte LAUVSTUAS ZEEME STARDUST JWW10 A very nice bitch indeed, in excellent condition, pleasing head & expression, good body, bone and feet not quite the movement of 1st.
3^rd	Withey DECOYMANS PIPER TEMPEST Very pretty bitch with a most appealing head and expression, very well presented and handled, giving a lot away in age to the first 2 moved well.

1^st	Fossgaard CH LAUVSTUAS BELLA VIE COPPER COUNTESS Well presented bitch with good head and eye, good reach of neck and lay of shoulders, carried the right amount of weight, in hard muscular condition, moved with reach and drive.
2^nd	Anstead SHOREDANCER SEA PINK VIA RIVERWATCHER Another favourite of mine with a most pleasing head and eye, good body, well angulated both ends, has lost some weight and looked much better for it, in gleaming coat and condition, moved well.
3^rd	Gibson CAMUSMOR ANY DREAM ULDO FOR ERIKACHEN Have always liked this bitch, but today was not quite in the condition of the 2 above, needs to carry far less weight, moved steadily.

1^st	Wibaux CHIB/CACS/LUX/SLK CH CASSIOPEE DU VAL DES GRANGES Very nice type, in good coat, did not move as well as the others in previous class.
2^nd	Burchell FIRETHORN UNDER THE RED SKY OF TIVALAKE (IMP NLD) Just off a litter so not in peak condition, good head and eye, well bodied, moved well, just lacked coat which was understandable.

Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bitch (10 entries)

1^st	Westwood & Johnson IR SH CH ALLIANCE DE LA VIE SO FANTASTIC WITH TOLLYHIMMEL (IMP NLD) Pleasing girl in reasonable coat, moved well for her handler, have seen her looking better.
2^nd	Daglish DECOYMANS PIPER NOSTA Very nice girl with all the basics, just lost out in movement in her previous class.
3^rd	Black DINASKARREK'S RED VIXEN AT SEAHAVEN Would like to see more work in head and more length of muzzle, rather small all through.
