| 1st | Smith CAMUSMOR GLEN SCOTIA AT DALLYVISTA 8 years dog proves that a good retriever just gets better & better with maturity, handsome masculine dog with excellent conformation, not too tall & leggy as some can be, head of good proportions, clean, well set on ears & good expressive eyes, topline was level at all times, lovely deep chest, strong bone, straight forelegs. He moved with drive, happily not being raced round the ring at high speed. I think some handlers feel that is the way to hide faults, but I have news for them, it doesn't. The only fault I could find with this dog was that he was not in his very best coat, but I was not going to penalise a good dog for that. BD & BOB. |
