Best Puppy | Acanuck Soul Rebel Of Croftwell | Moult & Savory |
A pleasing entry, but type was very mixed.
Junior Dog (4 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Moult & Savory ACANUCK SOUL REBEL OF CROFTWELL 8 month puppy developing rather nicely in so many areas, although showing a little uneven growth patterns at the moment i.e. higher at the back end. He looked the most typy in the class. Liked his head, and expression, really good eye and ear shape, moderate neck, good width of chest, very nice bone and feet. I liked his overall body shape. He has a good blaze, white on feet and tip to tail. Moved quite well, once settled. Very well presented. |
2nd | Cox DECOYMANS PIPER DREAMTIME IN ICESTORM Young male, built on taller and finer lines of 1. Really outgoing temperament, has a balanced head with moderate stop, good ear shape, reachy neck, level topline. Will no doubt continue to develop in body as he matures. Thought his feet could be a shade tighter. Has a moderate bend of stifle, not quite as positive on the move as the winner. He was shown in a good coat with plenty of condition. |
3rd | Woollerton MELANITTA CHILLICOTE AT CULMGILLIE |
Post Graduate Dog (5 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Parr KYMIN INNUENDO Very nice type, lovely head and expression, dark eye, good ear set, moderate neck length, strong topline, good conformation fore and aft, shown in very good coat and colour, well bodied, moved with drive, using his tail well. Has a great attitude full of life. BD, BOB. |
2nd | Powley DANEHAVEN SEVERN Again a slightly different type, but commendable, very well constructed, a very sound mover. Lots to like, good shoulders, topline, hindquarters and tail set. Res Best Dog. |
3rd | Powley DANEHAVEN TUNULIC |
Res | Palfrey FOXDOWN BERTIE ALLSORTS |
Open Dog (2 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Powley DANEHAVEN DETROIT Liked this energetic mover, reasonably good type, very well balanced head, dark eye, good muzzle, good reach of neck, good topline and tail set. Pleasing bone and feet, shapely body uses his tail well. Would like a little less daylight underneath and a little shorter back, but he looks very good in deportment on the move. Sound, active and with style. |
Junior Bitch (2 entries)
Litter sisters - 1 had more substance, better construction and more maturity.
1st | Rice TOLLERICE AIVAZOFF Liked this bitch's balanced head, good skull shape and ear set, pleasing eye and expression, good muzzle, strong moderate length of neck, good bone and feet, plenty of width of chest. Good hindquarters, free active mover. |
2nd | O'Neill TOLLERICE AUBIN Finer and less developed, reasonable head and expression, good reach of neck, body longish with a little too much tuck up at present. On the move tended to throw out an elbow, covers the ground enthusiastically though. |
Post Graduate Bitch (5 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Powley DANEHAVEN RED ROCK Liked the size and shape of this really useful bitch, nice head, moderate stop, good expression, liked her muzzle length, she has a really strong reachy neck, level topline, good forechest, pleasing bone and feet. I liked her depth of chest and minimum tuck up, nice bend of stifle, shown in a quality coat, carrying the right amount of weight on her body, moving really well. Best Bitch. |
2nd | Parr DANEHAVEN PELLY ON KYMIN Mother was winner of the class and now the daughter. This is a lovely free moving workmanlike bitch, has a little more daylight underneath than 1, looks really nice free standing, everything blends together well, she has a lovely feminine head, dark eye, good reach of neck, strong topline, strong loin, well angulated hindquarters, super tail action on the move, good colour, excellent mover. |
3rd | Black DINASKARREK'S RED VIXEN AT SEAHAVEN |
Res | Morgan REDAURORA COMET'S CHRISTMAS OF DELTANDAMBA |
Open Bitch (4 entries)
1st | Mathieson TIGERSTADENS NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN Feminine, a very nice headed bitch, good skull shape, stop and muzzle, good ear set, longish neck, good ribs, level topline, straight forelegs with good feet. Pleasing hind angulation, in good coat, free effortless mover. Res Best Bitch. |
2nd | Powley DANEHAVEN EFFINGHAM OFF KYMIN Larger typy bitch, experiencing a phantom pregnancy at the moment, has a nice outline but body shaped spoiled. Lovely temperament, lots to like, not quite the rear angulation of winner. Has a lovely shaped head, dark eye and kind expression, lacked a little in the energy stakes compared to 1, a little more substance though. |
