Veteran Dog (1 entry)
1st | Burt & Ashton DANEHAVEN KIPAWA Lovely old boy. I liked his head shape, a good 'wedge', enough neck, sound front and lay of shoulder, strong bone, excellent rear, he was pulling sideways up and down, but went well enough in profile. Res CC. |
Puppy Dog (1 entry, 1 absent)
Junior Dog (2 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Fielder & Ashton EUSANIT STAND AND DELIVER Biggish dog, stop more than moderate, back skull too lumpy, shoulders could be set back further, good bone and tight feet, lovely tail, ok in rear, good coat, topline a little roached. |
Post Graduate Dog (5 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Andrews ERIKACHEN CAOIMHIN FOR AFTONMARSH A touch long for his height, fair shoulders, excellent level back, good behind and tail well up and waving, lovely colour, pleasing head and ears, moved well all round. |
2nd | Fielder & Ashton PLAYING THE FIELDER Beautiful head and almond eyes, lovely front and forechest, well ribbed and good quarters, he just needs to be more compact as he is very long in loin, excellent mover. |
3rd | Wakely RIVERWATCHER NUKILIK |
Limit Dog (5 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Parr KYMIN NEPTUNE Lovely class, winner very exuberant and a bit unsteady on occasions in front. I liked his size proportions of height to length, lovely head, wedge shape to skull and foreface, nicely set triangular ears, ok in front and shoulder lay, pleasing coat and body, super drive in rear and gaily waving tail. |
2nd | Powley DANEHAVEN SEVERN Very sound and smooth moving, an older dog, maybe just lacks a little bone for size, great pigment, enough neck, sound construction and he really was in wonderful condition. |
3rd | Holt RIVERWATCHER K'EYUSH WITH MENSTONIA |

1st | Andrews ERIKACHEN RUARI FOR AFTONMARSH Mature, good size, pleasing head and well set eyes. A mite long in loin perhaps and down on one foot in front. In lovely coat and body and well angulated for this breed both ends. Smooth, easy mover with super temperament. DCC and BOB. |
2nd | Powley SH CH DANEHAVEN DETROIT Unfortunately out of coat on the day and he also looked a touch light in bone. I admired his movement, general compactness and good temperament. Showing and moving well. |
3rd | Ward MELANITTA FIREBLADE |
Res | French & Penelrick KYMIN MATTER OF FACT |
VHC | Palfrey FOXDOWN BERTIE ALLSORTS |
Veteran Bitch (1 entry)
1st | Palfrey FOXDOWN MY FAIR LADY In lovely nick for 11 yrs, a touch overweight around her middle and her head could be broader in back skull, moved ok and is certainly still 'jaunty'. A credit to her owner. |
Puppy Bitch (6 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Rogers TOLLYHIMMEL DRUNKUN DUCK Lovely line-up of lovely babies. Winner most forward at the moment, good head planes, excellent neck and front, compact body and she moved well, coat coming along nicely and well ribbed back. BP. |
2nd | Hunt WAKADUZE WAKASKA Lovely to go over and also appealed for bone, super feet, excellent colour and coat, she is just too long in loin and I do hope she shortens up, when she matures as she is a lovely prospect. |
3rd | Langford GABERLUNZIE MOIRA |
Res | Collins GABERLUNZIE BRIANA |
VHC | Powley GABERLUNZIE BAILEY |
Junior Bitch (3 entries)
1st | Rogers TOLLYHIMMEL DRUNKUN DUCK |
2nd | Powley GABERLUNZIE BAILEY Up from fifth in puppy. Beautiful baby all through for type, she has just grown up at the rear at the moment and she could lose a little weight over her rump, strong bone and good feet, pleasing head and expression, good coat coming, needs time. |
3rd | Claxton TOLLERICE BERTUZZI |
Post Graduate Bitch (11 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Black SEAHAVEN PARISH BELL Difficult class, really all shapes and sizes here. Winner sound moving, especially in rear, she has width across the quarters and good drive, pleasing head and front, nice for size and she carries herself well with tail well up. |
2nd | Akehurst THALASSA UNDER THE RED SKY AT RIPPLERUSH (IMP NLD) A touch longer in loin for a compact breed. Liked her head and eye set very much, enough neck, ok in front, handler tends to wander all over the ring but she seemed sound on the move. |
3rd | Burchell TIVALAKE COVER GIRL |
Res | Daniels LOUISELYN TALLULA GOLD STAR |
VHC | Smith & Parr KYMIN MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE |
Limit Bitch (2 entries)
1st | Powley DANEHAVEN RED ROCK Solid and sound moving, liked her head, almond eyes, neat triangular ears, sound front, good forechest and slope to upper arm, well ribbed, just slightly running up in rear, shows beautifully. |
2nd | Johnson SEAHAVEN'S GLORIANA Very good proportions of height to length, her head did not impress and her eyes were extremely light and staring, excellent body and rear, moved nicely and shows very well. |
Open Bitch (11 entries)
1st | Moult & Savory DECOYMANS PIPER MAPLE OF CROFTWELL Lovely class. Winner stood out for size, clean impressive movement, in good coat, gaily waving tail, strong bone, pleasing head, eyes and expression. Maybe a mite long in couplings but otherwise I thought her a lovely exhibit. CC. |
2nd | Hunt WAKADUZE HAPON Not quite as good in front legs as above and pasterns a wee bit too slack. She too moved with power and drive, super coat, body and condition and pleasing head and expression. Res CC. |
3rd | Ede REDAURORA GOLDEN FOX FIRES |
