I must say a huge thank you to the exhibitors you entered today, & with only one absentee I was thrilled. I make no apologies for pushing through the judging, it was hot out there & I didn't want your dogs out in the sun for too long which is also why I didn't move them as much as I would normally. There is still a variety of shapes & sizes & while there are some super specimens in the breed, breeders need to work together to ensure consistency of type. However, I was very pleased with my line-ups & my winners.

Puppy Dog (2 entries)

1^st	Westwood EUSANIT CATCH ME IF YOU CAN 11 months, good type, nice size & shape. Very pleasing head of correct shape, enough neck, well made front with good lay of shoulder, deep chest & short loin. Well muscled rear with correct tailset & carriage. Nice feet. On the move he is true coming & going with good reach & drive.
2^nd	Fuard TOLLELKIN BAY OF ICE 9 months, built along finer lines than 1 & longer through the body. Pleasing head, good angles fore & aft, deep chest & nice feet. On the move he is true coming & going & graceful in profile.

1^st	Westwood EUSANIT CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
2^nd	Dee MELANITTA CARELINUS 14 months. Lots to like about this young man, good for size & shape with a nice head. Good bone, well made fore & aft. Needs to be 'shown off' on the stand & encouraged a bit more on the move.

1^st	Strevens ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW So much has been said & written about this young man & after judging him I can see why. Stood out in this class. Excels in many areas. Lovely head & neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest with forechest, well ribbed back to a short loin, lovely rear angles, correct tailset & carried well. True on the move coming & going with correct jaunty gait. Had to work hard in the challenge against the open winner but just had the edge on the move. BD

1^st	Westwood LITTLERIVER'S O'CANADA TO EUSANIT (IMP CAN) Another super young man. Good shape & size. Excels in head & neck, super front assembly with good depth of chest, nice bone & good feet. Short loin & a well muscled rear. Lovely on the move with good tail carriage. Well handled as one would expect. In the challenge he just didn't catch the eye quite as much the PG winner. RBD
2^nd	Fielder EUSANIT STAND AND DELIVER AT CRETSHENGAN A little taller than 1 but balanced & well made & typy. Deep chest, short loin, correctly angled rear, lovely tailset & carriage. Super mover, well handled.

1^st	Westwood EUSANIT BEST OF THE BUNCH A name well suited & today was best of the puppies. Lovely head of correct shape. Super front assembly, deep chest & short loin. Super rear angles. Nice bone & good feet. Her handler just needs to watch the dog's rear when standing to ensure she is covering the ground. True mover & in the challenges kept showing & stood out to win RBB & BP
2^nd	Thompson AMBERTOLLERS FANTASY Just 6 months & such a sweetie. Pretty head & well made but rather short on leg at the moment. Hopefully she will grow on.

An intriguing class with a variety of shapes & sizes.

1^st	Newson TIVALAKE MORE THAN WISHES Won on size & shape over 2. Feminine young lady with a nice shaped head & good length of neck. Very good front with well laid shoulders & good depth of chest. Lovely rear angles & best mover in the class. Lacking in coat today.
2^nd	Littlehales MELANITTA AMBROSE RL2 Slightly taller than 1 & with a little more substance, balanced. Feminine head of good shape. Well put together both front & rear. Another good mover but not quite as positive on the move as 1.
3^rd	Wallwork EUSANIT CHINEESE WHISPERS AT SCHINDOW

1^st	Westwood SH CH/IR SH CH EUSANIT APPLE OF ONE'S EYE JW This young lady set the standard today. Mature, typy with the best of heads & bodies. A joy to go over, solid & so well made. Super front assembly, good deep chest & forechest, excels behind. So true & eyecatching on the move combining a typical carefree attitude with reach & drive. Pleased to award her BB & BOB then thrilled to watch her win G4. Apparently this is a repeat of what she did at last year's show. A fabulous achievement.
2^nd	Rogers TOLLYHIMMEL DRUNKUN DUCK This 2 year old did not have the presence of the winner today particularly on the stand where she did appear to be feeling the heat. She does have a nice head & is well put together throughout. Particularly like her rear angles. A steady mover.
3^rd	Ward FLUSHPOINT WHATA ACCIDENT FOR MELANITTA (IMP SWE)

Completing a really good line up, this medium sized typy bitch is all quality, she has a clean cut slightly rounded skull, well shaped muzzle, moderate stop, correct ear set very nice size, good shape to strong well muscled neck, good shoulders, very good length of leg to depth of body, strong level back, relatively short loin, shown in very good depth of coat, covering her body well. Where she is positively eye catching is on the move, her head carriage fairly high, topline dead level and tail carried over the back, showing classic breed characteristic style, she has very good forward reach in profile and plenty of drive in rear quarters a real joy to reward her obvious qualities.
