Thank you to the Club and the committee for giving me the honour of judging for them today and for making me so welcome. I have owned the breed for over 20 years now and started with a toller in obedience and then found myself in the show ring with a fabulous little bitch and the rest is history. I fell in love with the breed and have never looked back, showing here and abroad.

My thanks also go to my 2 excellent stewards Bill Molton and Rachel Bradley for the fabulous job they both did. It was lovely to see so many fellow toller people there along with some new faces to showing. Some of the exhibits were carrying a little too much weight and placings were affected because of this. However, I was pleased with my winners and there are some good prospects amongst the younger classes and I will be watching their progress with much interest.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (9 entries, 1 absent)

1^st	Foster-Brown SH CH/AM GCH KYMIN IPSO FACTO (RE-IMP) Well balanced 7 year old lady, good wedge shaped head with correctly set ears. Neck well set on with a good lay back of shoulder. Level topline on the move and standing. Good angulation fore and rear, moved well.
2^nd	Reader EUSANIT VISIONS OF CHILLBRAV 8.5 year old male, finer male than I prefer but well balanced and in good condition. Nice wedge shaped head, with a gentle expression to his almond shaped eyes. Medium length neck well set on. Good depth to chest and a level topline held well on the move. Moderate tuck up and strong loin. Just preferred the movement of 1.

Burchell TIVALAKE MAKE 'EM LAUGH
11mth old who I hope has stopped growing as at top end of standard. Good head with a moderate stop, medium triangular drop ears but he does have a tendency to occasionally fly one ear. Strong neck into well laid back shoulder, upper arm is a little short, good boned straight legs, good level topline and well set on tail. Good spring of rib and strong loins, well muscled hindquarters. Moderate stifle and well let down hocks. Shown in good coat and condition and well handled. Maturing nicely and should have a good future ahead. Moved ok.

Junior Dog (4 entries)

1^st	Westwood EUSANIT CATCH ME IF YOU CAN 16mths old Lovely young male who is also maturing nicely. Another at the top end of the standard but very well balanced. Slightly darker red than 2. Clean cut head with well set medium ears, a medium length neck leads to good angulated fore quarters and well laid back shoulders . Good topline into good loins and a well set on tail. Moderate stifle (which can appear to be straight if allowed to overstretch) and well let down hocks. Good driving action seen on the up and down and in profile. Preferred the movement of this boy to the 2nd.

Novice Dog (3 entries)

1^st	Fuard TOLLELKIN BAY OF ICE Loved this young man's overall look and size. Good wedge shaped head leading to a strong medium neck. Good depth to well sprung ribs, short loin and moderate tuck up. Excellent rich red gold coat, shown in excellent condition – Movement more settled in this class than previous one.
2^nd	Powley REDBORN ULTIMATE DANEHAVEN (IMP DNK) Smaller more compact boy than 1 though still in standard. Good wedge head with muzzle of correct proportions, ears of good length and shape and well set, eyes slightly rounder than almond shaped. Good angulations fore and rear, well sprung ribs and well boned straight legs to tight feet. Topline affected by a little excess weight but he moved well in spite of it.
3^rd	Buck, Raby & Raby Buck DANEHAVEN GREEK

Graduate Dog (6 entries, 1 absent)

1^st	Morgan ERIKACHEN O'RUADH FOR DELTANDAMBA JW SHCM The first of 3 brothers that all ended up in my final line up for Best Dog and they could easily swap places at another time and many of the comments apply to all three. Deep, rich red coat in gleaming condition, which is almost too dark for me but falls within the breed standard. Nice male head although ears could be slightly higher set to enhance the wedge shape, moderate stop and well set almond shaped eyes. Strong neck of medium length and excellent fore and rear angulations. Good straight legs leading to tight feet. Excellent depth to brisket and a moderate tuck up. Well bent stifle and well let down hocks. Moved with drive.

2^nd	Powley TIGERSTADENS FARGO AT DANEHAVEN (IMP NOR) Lovely medium and compact dog. Good masculine head, neck of medium length, level topline, good angulation throughout. Just needs to lose a little weight please.

1^st	Wright ERIKACHEN DAITHI OF WRIGHTPAW JW RBIS, BD – the second of the brothers in my final line up and for me the most mature of the three. Well balanced and in glistening coat and hard condition. Strong male wedged shaped head with ears set well back and high on the skull and medium ears that framed his face neatly, I would prefer a slightly more moderate stop however. Medium strong neck well set on, excellent fore and rear angulation. Straight well boned legs leading to neat feet. Good depth of brisket and excellent spring of rib giving plenty of heart room. Level topline and strong loins leading to a heavily feathered tail that did not stop moving. Strong powerful rear quarters that provided the springy powerful drive expected of the breed. Well handled and presented.
2^nd	Moult & Savory ACANUCK SOUL REBEL OF CROFTWELL Another nice male but just not the overall picture of 1. Lovely boy with super markings, good head into strong neck, good ratio of height to length, good top line and adequate angulation, excellent depth and spring of ribs. Shown in hard condition, Moved well.

1^st	Strevens ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW RBD The final of the brothers that made my line up for Best Dog. Lovely young male with a deep rich red gleaming coat. Good wedge shape to his head with correct set ears and a moderate stop. Excellent angulation throughout and good depth to brisket. Lovely topline held whilst stationary and on the move. Excellent presentation and moved well. Lost out to his brother for BD who was just that bit more mature at this stage.
2^nd	Fielder EUSANIT STAND AND DELIVER AT CRETSHENGAN Taller male than 1 but well balanced. Excellent masculine head leading to a strong neck of medium length. Well laid back shoulders, good depth to brisket and elbows well in, ribs well sprung and strong loins. Well muscled throughout, unsettled today on the move.

1^st	Nottingham TOLLERHOLME JOVIALITY Fairly fine young lady of lighter colouring, feminine head with well set on ears. Good angulation throughout but was a little high in the rear today a little loose in movement but to be expected at this age. Moved really well for her handler.
2^nd	Westwood EUSANIT LOVE IS ALL AROUND ME Another pretty young bitch darker in colour with good white markings, slightly better bone than 1 but her head was not as good. Good fore and rear angles again fairly high on the rear end spoiling her topline. Moved well and tried to please her handler.
3^rd	Tester GINGAFING LET'S GO CRAZY

Junior Bitch (6 entries)

1^st	Moult & Savory EUSANIT NAUGHTY BUT NICE FOR CROFTWELL JW BIS, BB Beautiful young bitch, strong but feminine head, with well set drop ears framing her face. Lovely well set almond shaped eyes with a gentle but alert expression. Strong medium length neck, well laid back shoulders, excellent depth of briskets and elbows tight in, ribs well sprung, strong loin which could be slightly shorter if being super critical. Excellent fore and rear angulations, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Slightly out of coat today but this lets you see everything clearly. Movement won her BIS today, she made it look so effortless.
2^nd	Westwood EUSANIT BEST OF THE BUNCH Litter sister to 1 and many of the same things above can be applied to this girl as they are so very similar. Another lovely head leading into a well set on strong neck of medium length, excellent angulations fore and rear, level topline and wins on a slightly shorter strong loin than her sister. Shown in good coat and condition but just not the confidence or presence of 1.

1^st	Elkin TOLLELKIN WATER DANCER Lovely young lady, good head and expression leading into a moderate length, strong neck. Well constructed throughout. Moved ok.
2^nd	West WAKADUZE WI MIMBE Very good angulations throughout but just to long for the height which made her look unbalanced. Very well handled.

1^st	Rogers TOLLYHIMMEL DRUNKUN DUCK Strong feminine head, a bit longer in the muzzle, good almond shaped eyes, good layback of shoulder and depth to rib cage. Slightly longer in the loin however she held her topline on the move and standing. Excellent movement.
2^nd	Hanvey & McAlister IR SH CH WILDFOWLER'S SIXTH SENCE AT DREAMYRIVER (IMP NLD) Another nice head, shorter in muzzle than one, eyes a little rounder too. Strong medium neck leading to a level topline. Good angulation throughout and shown in great condition. Moved ok.
