I was delighted to judge this breed again. Having spent several years competing with them in Imported Register, I have followed their progress with interest. I found in my winners good type, plenty of bone without being too heavy and in their movement I felt they could do a day's work at what they were bred for. Some exhibits lacked bone and substance and I think this should be watched for the future.
Ear and ear sets were correct. Some rather round and light eyes (not just in the youngsters) one level bite.
I should like to thank the exhibitors for their lovely entry and also their enthusiasm at ringside. So nice to see.
Veteran Dog (2 entries)
| 1st | Burchell TIVALAKE JINGLE BELL ROCK SHCM RL2 I have judged this 7 year old male before and awarded him the breed. He is well made throughout, strong in forechest and quarters well let down and good ribbing. He has a super head and eye. Tight feet and well laid shoulders. A level topline and correct hind angulation. Moved very well. Could maybe carry his tail a little higher. Reserve best dog. |
| 2nd | Cox DECOYMANS PIPER DREAMTIME IN ICESTORM RL2 Another 7 year old with a nice head and correct ears and eye shape. Little short in upper arm. Tight feet. Well let down and strongly ribbed. Good topline. Moved with sufficient drive, not as steady in front coming towards me as the winner. Both were in super conditon for their age. |

| 1st | Rimmer & Phillips TIVALAKE YOU'RE THE TOP I loved the head and eye. He has good overall construction. Very strong in topline. Good tight feet and excellent ribbing. Moved with strong drive carrying his tail correctly. To be picky maybe he could have another inch in leg length but he is still a puppy. Best puppy and best junior. |
| 2nd | Newson TIVALAKE LET'S MISBEHAVE JW Litter brother. Longer caste and although very well constructed with a good head, he did not have the topline of his brother and was a little bum high today. Moved out well, another promising youngster. |

| 1st | Burchell & Scott TIVALAKE MAKE 'EM LAUGH JW Lovely upstanding youngster of good type. Liked his head and eye. Correct strong boned front. Tight feet, good depth to brisket and excellent muscle throughout. Level topline good angulation behind and carried his tail well. Moved out. Pushed hard for top spot, just needs to mature a little but should have a promising future. |
| 2nd | Wright CAMUSMOR CROWN ROYAL Another good headed dog of correct size. Shoulders were good but lacks a little in forechest. Good topline and ribbing. Not quite the front movement of my winner but showed and moved well in side gait. Both had excellent correct coats. |

| 1st | Strevens SH CH ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW SHCM I loved the outline and size of this dog as he entered the ring and he did not disappoint. I believe I judged him as a puppy and liked him then. He has a very good head and eye. Correct ears. Strong neck and front assembly. Tight feet. Well let down and ribbed. Firm topline stacked and on the move. Very good drive and shows off as he goes round the ring. He has a super tail with excellent carriage. Best dog and BOB. |
| 2nd | Fielder IR SH CH EUSANIT STAND AND DELIVER AT CRETSHENGAN More on the leg and longer in body. He has a pleasing head. A little upright in shoulder. Sufficient brisket and good topline. Good tight feet and pasterns. Not the front movement of the winner. Moved with a good stride in side gait. |

Ribs go well back and she had a good topline both standng and on the move. Very good stride when moving a promising youngster. Reserve best bitch. |
