Firstly I would like to thank the exhibitors of both these breeds who gave me a fantastic, quality entry. I would also like to thank the association for giving me my fifth breed with tickets. I do not consider myself to be a slow judge, but it had been suggested that I should sanitise my hands between going over each dog, which slowed me down a little. There were some aspects of some dogs, which while not contrary to the breed standard, were less appealing to me.
Puppy Dog (4 entries)
1st | Nevers TOLLELKIN DREAM COVE AT SHELDRAKE 6 months old balanced young man, appealing head and expression, good straight front, with nice tight feet. Well angulated front and rear, in good coat, moved extremely well for one so young, pleased to award this young man, Best Puppy in Breed. |
2nd | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM HARBOUR Another 6 month old, very similar in type and construction to winner, so I was not surprised later to find that they were litter brothers. Just preferred winners topline, but this was a very close decision, which over the course of time, one could not predict which would turn out better than the other, I shall watch their progress with interest. |
3rd | Fielder CRETSHENGAN TORRAN LOCH (AI) Masculine 8 months old young man, good head and expression, good front with tight feet, moved well, unlucky to come up against first and second placed puppies. |

1st | Elkin TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO Balanced masculine dog, lovely head and expression, good straight front, well angulated front and rear, nice tight feet, coat was in good condition, very balanced on the move, carrying his tail correctly, this made my decision process difficult, as I was torn between this dog and the winner of post Graduate. So on this day it was the Reserve CC for this very nice dog. |

1st | Newson SH CH TIVALAKE MORE THAN WISHES Balanced bitch, feminine head and expression, good front and feet, in good coat, moved well, unfortunately she carried her tail, just too far up for me with the tail feathering almost touching her back, apart from that, this was a very nice bitch. |
2nd | Fielder IR SH CH EUSANIT BEST OF THE BUNCH AT CRETSHENGAN Feminine bitch, good front and feet, well angulated front and rear, good topline, moved extremely well, just thought that the amount of white on her forelegs, which although was not contrary to the breed standard it spoiled her appearance for me, which prevented me placing her higher. |
