I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge at this show, which was a great honour. Thank you too to the exhibitors who braved the cold conditions, most of whom accepted my decisions with great sportsmanship. I am very grateful to my extremely efficient steward, Bill Molton, who kept the classes running so well. I thoroughly enjoyed my day going over some truly beautiful Tollers.

1^st	Wakely RIVERWATCHER NUKILIK 9 year old lively boy. Lovely head and kind eye. Moved well maintaining a level outline. Good angulation front and rear. Beautiful coat and very fit. BV

Puppy Dog (6 entries, 3 absent)

1^st	Hughes ABACOT INTO THE UNKNOWN 7 ½ month old. Well angulated and moved well, nicely marked and in good coat.
2^nd	Ryder ARTHUNDUR DREAM COME TRUE 9 ½ month old, nice head, good angulation, lighter in colour than 1. Rather too much white but otherwise a nice boy.
3^rd	Robinson GABERLUNZIE COMET

Junior Dog (9 entries, 4 absent)

1^st	Fielder CRETSHENGAN TORRAN LOCH (AI) Super young dog with a great future. Good head, eyes darkening nicely, good angulation, in good coat, nicely marked. Moved very well in harmony with his handler.
2^nd	Limerick & O'Sullivan RIVERWATCHER PALUKTAK A very different type to 1 but a very promising young dog. Good masculine head, rear angulation good, but a little upright in shoulders. Moved well and in good hard condition.

1^st	Trueman CRETSHENGAN LAKE ITASCA (AI) Nice young dog. Good head and eye. Nicely marked and in good condition. Angulation fine. Very attentive to handler.
2^nd	Clare & Redfern ARTHUNDUR LITTLE LION MAN Another very nice young dog, lovely head and correct eye, good angulation, moved well but tended to stand bottom high.

1^st	Stait ACADIABYRNE THE BAKER'S SON Nice compact dog, lovely head and eye, good temperament, in lovely coat and nicely marked. Moved well and had good angulation.
2^nd	Palfrey EUSANIT WILD ATLANTIC WAY A much bigger dog than 1. Very difficult decision. Good head and eye, lovely deep colour, moved well.

2^nd	Burgess CAMUSMOR KING ROB This was a very difficult decision as there was little between 1 & 2 but I preferred the movement of 1. Nice head, lovely almond eyes. In good coat and well angulated.

1^st	Wright CAMUSMOR CROWN ROYAL One I have judged before and done well. Very pleased to see that he has matured so well. Lovely classic toller head, almond eye, good ear set. Good angulation. In lovely coat. Moved powerfully round the ring in perfect harmony with his handler. RBD
2^nd	Ward MELANITTA PALMATA JW Another lovely dog, super head, dark eye. Nicely marked and in good condition. Well angulated. Moved very well.

1^st	Barker SH CH EUSANIT SILVR DREAM MACHINE My notes just say Wow. He really caught my eye coming into the ring. What a lovely boy! Classic head and eye, great angulation, correct dentition. In beautiful condition and moved extremely well. BD & BIS
2^nd	Fielder SCHINDOW JUNIOR COWBOY WITH CRETSHENGAN Another very nice dog, just unlucky to come up against (1). A tad smaller than (1), well handled, lovely head and eye. Good ear set. Nicely marked and moved well.

1^st	Collins & Powley DANEHAVEN DETROYES Could not believe that this bitch was a veteran from the way she pranced about the ring. Nice head and eye, slightly long in the back but nicely angulated. Moved well and gave her handler a tough time – I loved it!
2^nd	Palfrey FLUSHPOINT WHATA ACCIDENT FOR MELANITTA SHCM VW (IMP SWE) 12 year old girl unlucky to come up against 1. Lovely rich colour. In good condition and moved well.
3^rd	Tester FIELDRANGER'S BORN TO RUN

1^st	Berry SHERARDSWOOD PEPPA Gorgeous 6/12 old girl at her first show which I think she thoroughly enjoyed. Pretty correct head, eye needs to darken, nicely angulated, moved reasonably well considering her angulation. Pleased to give her BPIS – I think with more training she has a great future.

2^nd	Rolf & Parker TOLLPEPPER ECHO'S HOPE FOR SKYSARIA 13 ½ month old girl. Smaller than 1 but a very nice picture. Darker in colour, well made, moved well, good angulation and good dentition. She too has a great future.
