Thank you to the committee for the kind invitation to judge and to the exhibitors for such a super entry. I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment and it was a lovely atmosphere around the ring.
Puppy Dog (4 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Smith TOLLISTY RAUDR Eye-catching d of 7 months, though well up to size maturing nicely, pleasing masculine head with large well-set ears and a rather cheeky expression, medium length of neck into well laid shoulders, well boned legs and nice round feet, strong over the loin, would prefer a shade more angulation in the rear, lovely thick orange coat, moved out well with much enthusiasm. BP. |
2nd | Bate-Ash & Ash SINSIRCARIAD OLD FASHIONED Medium d of 6 months and less mature than 1, pleasing head with good taper to muzzle and correct eye, good angles to front and rear. Lovely deep orange coat. Just a shade close behind on the move today. |
Junior Dog (7 entries)
1st | Parr VERY MUCH KYMIN OF GREAT PLEASURE (IMP BEL) Well balanced orange d who presents a very pleasing outline, correct slightly wedge shaped head with well set on ears and correct eye shape, medium neck into well laid shoulders and straight front, nice depth to chest, good rear angles with correct set on of tail. Moved positively from all angles and with good reach and drive. |
2nd | Burgess REDMANHEY'S COMTE DE LA FERE Eyecatching d in glorious deep red and white coat with lovely head properties and kindly expression, nice depth to chest, good topline and tight round feet, just preferred the front and rear angles of 1. |

1st | Greenwood COEDHELYG SON SHINE JW Spot on for type, balance and size we need more like this super boy! Striking deep orange d of medium size with pleasing head of good wedge shape and soft expression, well set ears of medium size, medium neck into well laid shoulders and good forechest, tight round feet, deep chest well sprung, short back with strong loin, well-muscled rear with correct turn of stifle, glorious double coat, moved out well from all angles with good reach and drive. Looked a real picture in the final line up. Pleasure to award him BD and BOB. |
2nd | Rice TOLLERICE EBERLE One I have liked before for his super breed type, has a lovely slightly wedge-shaped head with nice taper of muzzle and soft expression, good length of neck leading to good front angles, nice depth of brisket, strong over the loin and good rear angles. Moved out well overall but just not as positive behind as 1. |

1st | Elkin CH TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO SGWC SHCEX Larger d but really love the overall make and shape of this boy, such a pleasing masculine head without being overdone and lovely intelligent yet kindly expression. Tidy front with neatest of feet, good depth to chest with tight elbows, super rear angulation with low hocks. In super coat condition. Moved with good reach and drive. In the challenge I just preferred the height and rear movement of the PG winner. RBD. |
2nd | Barker SH CH EUSANIT SILVR DREAM MACHINE Lovely well boned d in glorious deep red and white coat, not quite the head proportions of 1, medium neck into good shoulder placement, a little narrower through the front, well ribbed and strong over the loin, would prefer a little more angulation to stifles. Moved well with much showmanship. |

1st | Anstead MULTI CH RIVERWATCHER ATKA Turning 11 on the day and still in super condition, a masculine boy all through with nice head proportions with good breadth to skull, flat cheeks and kindly eye, tidy ears, strong neck and good forechest, well sprung ribs and strong over loin, would prefer a shade more rear angulation, moved out well though a shade wide behind. BV. |
2nd | Fuard TOLLELKIN BAY OF ICE You cannot fail to smile at this boy with his jolly nature and super relationship with his handler, larger all through with super bone, he has a super masculine head with darker pigment and dark eye to match. Nice angles to front though wider than 1, tight round feet, nice spring of ribs, pleasing rear angles and moved well. |

Special Beginner Dog (3 entries)
1st | Stait AFONBACH BALERION VHC in a nice Junior class earlier in the day. Eyecatching orange boy of good breed type in super coat. A shade more length of leg would give him more balance overall. Typical head with lovely soft expression though his bite could be better. Straight front and tight feet. Well ribbed and super rear angles. Moved well with good drive. |
2nd | Head SPRITERUFUS TARANTELLA A taller deep red boy with strong bone who I felt needed less leg length for better balance. Lovely wedge shape to head with well set neat ears, a little narrow through the front, well sprung ribs and short over the loin, would prefer more turn of stifle. Moved ok and well handled. |
3rd | Brand COEDHELYG JINGLE ALL THE WAY |
Puppy Bitch (5 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Bule CANIS AMICUS GILDA II TO DREAMBIG (IMP ESP) Very showy 11 months b of lovely deep red and white coat with strong bone throughout, nice head proportions with well set ears, good front angles and tight feet, ribs well sprung but a little more depth still to come, super rear angulation and she really excelled on the move with much reach and drive. |
2nd | Strevens TOLLISTY SHINCHA Sweet 7 months b of finer bone and shade taller than 1. Very pretty feminine head with lovely almond shaped eyes of good colour and large well set on ears, nice straight front but prefer slightly more angulation in shoulder, longer over the loin but topline held well for age, not as positive on the move as 1 yet but has time on her side. |

1st | Kindell & Anstead EUSANIT PRIDE AND JOY VIA RIVERWATCHER JW Super balanced and feminine 16 months b in lovely deep orange jacket, very pleasing head proportions with correct eye and ears, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, tidy front with neat well arched feet, super depth to brisket and strength over loin, very pleasing turn of stifles and low hocks which she used to really drive on the move, looked stunning in the challenge taking BB. |
2nd | Warren AFONBACH DREAMFYRE AT SHORROCKS Orange b of smaller mould than 1 but a lovely balanced outline throughout, such a pretty head of good wedge shape and super expression, pleasing front angles and well ribbed body with nice tuck up. Good rear angles with good muscle tone and well set on tail. Moved out positively. |

1st | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM DANCER JW Lovely medium sized b of 3 years with feminine head with nice taper to muzzle and flat cheeks, good breadth of skull and large well set on ears, nice length of neck into straight front, stood on lovely tight feet and good through body with nice tuck up. Super rear angulation and moved out well, however was very fidgety and hard to assess when stood which nearly cost her the class. With more ringcraft she could be a contender for higher honours. |
2nd | Collins & Powley DANEHAVEN MADELEINE Another quality 3-year b and one I have admired ringside but sadly totally left her coat at home today. Has super head proportions with nice taper to muzzle, medium triangular shaped ears and kind expression, nice neck flow into well angulated shoulders and straight front, good depth of chest and strong over loin flowing into well angulated rear, moved out well. |

1st | Anstead SH CH RIVERWATCHER KODA Pretty 3-year b in super red and white jacket, lovely head proportions with well set on ears, medium neck into well laid shoulders and ample forechest, tidy through front with neat feet, well ribbed body and good strength over loin, moved out well with good drive from behind. Just lost out in bitch challenge as felt carrying a shade too much weight on the day. RBB. |
2nd | Westwood EUSANIT BAY OF FUNDY First of two litters sisters of similar type, good overall balance though slightly shorter in leg than 1, pleasing head of correct wedge shaped and with almond shaped eyes with soft expression, straight well boned front, nice depth of chest and strength over loin, well-turned stifles, in good orange jacket, moved well from all angles and superbly handled by her young handler. |
