I would like to thank the committee and especially, Sally Duffin, for the kind invitation to judge my breed for the first time at a Championship show. Many thanks also, to all the exhibitors for a lovely entry. I was impressed with the youngsters especially, as all the temperaments were very good.
Puppy Dog (5 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM HARBOUR This young male has a very good front assembly, which is nicely balanced at the rear, with good width behind and well bent stifle, constantly holds a level topline, nicely short coupled, so well proportioned, resulting in him being a very fluid mover with reach and drive for such a young dog. (BP) |
2nd | Nevers TOLLELKIN DREAM COVE AT SHELDRAKE This boy is very similar to his litter brother in make, he has good length of leg, slightly longer in loin than 1, excellent front assembly, balanced proportions, good pasterns, well let down hocks, and also moves well. I am sure they will change places many times. |

1st | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM HARBOUR |
2nd | Rice TOLLERICE EBERLE A taller type than 1, but a well balanced dog, a very attractive head, with good set on of neck and lay of shoulder, holds a level topline, lovely bend of stifle, straight hocks, appealing golden red coat developing. |

1st | Rogers EUSANIT PEAKY BLINDER Muscular dog with a strong neck of medium length, very nice outline , compact and square, another with good proportions, equal length and return of upper arm, shoulders well back. nicely bent stifle. just needs to mature a little more to finish. Moved well. |
2nd | Gibson ERIKACHEN CONLAOCH DEARG Nice proportions, set square, and shown in excellent condition, would prefer a little more bend of stifle to complete the picture, just moved a little closer behind than the winner. |
3rd | Palfrey EUSANIT WILD ATLANTIC WAY |
Limit Dog (6 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Elkin TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO I have judged this boy before as a puppy and the potential I saw in him then has very much been fulfilled. He has a good head, although he perhaps would benefit with a shade more length of muzzle, a well made front assembly, he moves with a fluid efficient stride, full of power with effortless reach and drive. Typical jaunty attitude, which seemed lacking in some today. He is so well balanced, Well bent stifles and let down hocks, shown in good hard condition. Just had that bit extra showmanship in the challenge against the bitch today. Pleased to award him top honours. (BD & BOB) |
2nd | Ward MELANITTA PALMATA JW A different type to the winner, a very attractive dog, lovely compact shape, he gives such an impression of power and substance without exaggeration, I particularly liked his good spring of ribs, and short loin, just not quite the movement or showmanship of 1 today. |

1st | Strevens SH CH ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW SHCM SHCEX Such a well proportioned dog, strong muscle tone, true balance, short hocks, jaunty mover, true action going away and coming to, holds a strong level topline. He has excellent spring of ribs, very close to top honours, just lacked a little drive in the challenge. |
2nd | Burchell & Scott TIVALAKE MAKE 'EM LAUGH JW A different type to 1, well angulated front and rear assemblies and is of good balance, he displayed excellent reach and drive, and impressed on his ground covering action. However, I just preferred the more compact profile and proportions of the winner. |

Veteran Dog or Bitch (4 entries, 1 absent)
1st | Wakely RIVERWATCHER NUKILIK This mature veteran has excellent front angulation, with well muscled forequarters, shoulder well laid back and correctly laid in allowing good spring of rib. His coat was a little open, he has good proportions, and a firm topline, he really excelled in his movement , flowing around the ring with a ground covering action with good reach and drive. He gave such an Impression of power and so workmanlike, he could work all day. Just a tad strong in head for me, but very well handled and deserved his win. (BV & RBD) |
2nd | Burchell TIVALAKE JINGLE BELL ROCK SHCM RL2 Close up to winner, just not quite as strong in front as 1, but another excellent mover, with efficient ground covering stride. Slightly longer cast, but lovely balance and outline. |
3rd | Palfrey FLUSHPOINT WHATA ACCIDENT FOR MELANITTA SHCM VW (IMP SWE) 12 year old beautiful typy bitch who caught my eye for her many breed typical attributes. Very typical expression and well proportioned feminine head, well made front assembly, so nicely put together without exaggeration. Just showing her age now with a slightly soft topline on the move, but still very graceful. |

1st | Rogers EUSANIT PEAKY BLINDER |
2nd | Bassil TIVALAKE MY LUCKY STAR Mature male, strong looking masculine dog, typical head, Good front assembly, and nicely balanced proportions, with well let down hocks, and good bend of stifle. A good sound exhibit just needs a bit more drive when moving. |

Puppy Bitch (4 entries, 3 absent)
1st | Elkin TOLLELKIN DREAM DANCER A very feminine bitch, she had good length of leg and ribs go well back with short couplings, she maintains a firm topline, and moved well for her age. Although she stood alone, she was a quality puppy and deserved her first placing today. Not as together yet as her brother in the challenge, she has plenty of time on her side. |
Junior Bitch (6 entries, 2 absent)
1st | Westwood EUSANIT EVER FALLEN IN LOVE This girl had a beautiful feminine head and expression, a very typy bitch with an excellent front assembly, nice spring of ribs, short loin, nicely bent stifles and well let down hocks. For her young age she was a powerful mover, holding a level topline on the move. Surely one for the future, I liked her very much. |

1st | Strevens TOLLELKIN CAIFE GAELACH AT TOLLISTY This girl is so balanced and well made. She has such a good fore-chest, equal length and return of upper arm , shoulders well laid back, underline correct, strong level topline. Balanced at the rear with well bent stifles, and well let down. Short in loin and stands on neat tight feet. Very well deserved Reserve BB in the challenge I expect she will have many honours to come. (RBB) |
2nd | West RAYNECHASER LUNA ECLIPSE Still fairly young, just 2 years old, pleasing head and expression, eyes blending nicely with coat colour, neck of medium length, well muscled, with good lay of shoulder, strong in loin and she had good bend of stifle, she moved well around the ring. Very well handled. |

Limit Bitch (7 entries, 1 absent)
1st | West WAKADUZE WI MIMBE AT RAYNECHASER A nicely made workmanlike bitch, with an appealing ring presence whilst without exaggeration. She is an excellent mover, with an impression of power and endurance, with good reach and drive holding a level topline. Would just prefer a little more length of leg to complete the picture. |
2nd | Nevers TIVALAKE EASY TO LOVE AT SHELDRAKE AW(B) Such a well proportioned bitch, she has a nice feminine expression, a little petite in stature, but overall she had excellent angulation front and rear, which showed in her free flowing and driving movement and with lovely tight neat feet. |

Open Bitch (4 entries)
1st | Westwood & McDonald IR SH CH EUSANIT GONNA MAKE YOU A STAR This quality bitch was what I had been looking for all day; so full of breed type and very well constructed. Her movement was effortless. For me she is the ideal shape, size and proportions for a bitch. So balanced and well angled fore and aft. In the challenge for BOB she just lost a bit of her showmanship. A very worthy winner of Best Bitch. |
2nd | Hughes EUSANIT GEM STONE AT ABACOT Litter sister to the winner, another good mover, nice length of leg to body proportions, excellent front assembly, just moved a little close behind today. Sadly out of coat. |
3rd | Wakely CRETSHENGAN EMERALD LAKE A very young bitch, lost out here on maturity and another out of coat today, she is a nice mover, but not the front of the two sisters above, she is nicely balanced, just needs more time to mature and develop. |
