My first time judging the breed in the UK. A lovely entry of 88 dogs. NSDTR is not an easy breed to judge with a great variation in type so not easy to get an even lineup. I was really happy with my class winners and the general depth of quality, males better than females! I looked for a well balanced dog with a confident temperament and with enough power to do a days work. Lovely atmosphere and very few absentees!

Special Beginner Dog (2 entries)

1^st	Dorrell & Jenkins TOLLISTY MOET EN CHANDON Masculine and powerful with a very typical skull, well bodied and broad thighs, well carried tail, correct coat and temperament, moved well.
2^nd	O'Reilly TOLLELKIN DREAM LOCH Really liked his type, but not yet as confident as 1, still developing in muzzle and underjaw, narrow in front, good tail, quite good coat.

1^st	Fielder CRETSHENGAN TORRAN LOCH JW (AI) CC and BOB, caught my eye immediately and couldn’t find anyone to beat him later on, stunning junior of excellent breed type, won his class easily, lovely headshape and skull, correct stop, eyes and ears, super neck and topline, correct feet and tail carriage, moved very well going around, well marked and coat in super condition, was very proud of him in the big ring, well presented.
2^nd	Trueman CRETSHENGAN LAKE ITASCA (AI) Liked his proportions, good skull, lovely eye and expression, still developing in ribcage, correct tailcarriage, not in full coat, very positive on the move and well presented.
