I would like to thank the oﬃcers and committee for their kind invite to judge NSDTR with CC’s for the first time. Also thank you to my stewards, Jane and Bob for all their help, keeping the ring moving and eﬃcient during the day. Of course my biggest thanks go the exhibitors who so kindly brought their lovely dogs for me judge. They were very supportive to the winners and showed great sportsmanship through out the day. The breed at shows are growing all the time in popularity year on year. I was awarding tickets in the breed for the first time so was very humbled to have such a entry, not only in numbers but in quality with some very competitive classes and some hard decisions had to be made. The breed in general is in a good place, because the classes are so competitive, you have to produce and show top quality dogs to have success in the ring, so very positive for the future. My only slight concern for the breed was the big increase since I judged them at Bournemouth in the over use of baiting. Of course a little baiting to get a dog stacked to show its best is fine by me, but their were quite a few where the dog was so obsessed with the reward it was very diﬃcult for me to acess heads, and look at the bite, and in some cases going over the body of the dog was a challenge. I hope this improves for the future.

1^st	Adshead SH CH AFONBACH WINTER IS COMING JW SHCEX OSW VW A Seven yr old boy of the correct size and shape. Good in head shape with compact body. Lovely in topline and well muscleld hind quarters. Good in coat colour and in excellent condition and steady on the move.
2^nd	Newson TIVALAKE LET'S MISBEHAVE JW Another seven yr old with wedge shape head and intelligent expression. He has a strong body when stacked, good angulation on rear and square hock. Good feathering to tail and well presented.

1^st	Ryder SHORROCKS GAME CHANGER AT FINNKOVA Correct in head, with almond shape to eye. He had good bone with sloping pastern. A little bum high at moment but I am sure will drop with age. Super well feathered tail and good coat colour.

1^st	Davies ARELECHEN GALILEO FIGARO Wedge shaped head with intelligent eye. Straight front on tight feet. Compact in body with deep chest. In good coat with well feathered tail. Very happy on the move. Best Puppy.
2^nd	Hughes ABACOT HEART OF THE OCEAN Correct in head, with good bone on angulated front. Short in back with level topline nice coat colour, not quite the depth of chest of winner.

1^st	Elkin CH TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO SGWC SHCEX A beautiful dog from any angle. When stacked he is just so balanced, no exaggeration anywhere. Beautiful head with strong neck. Super body, deep in chest, strong in loin and a topline to die for. He has correct angulation both front and rear, which is why he moves so easily around the ring. Very well presented and handled DCC.
2^nd	Westwood IR SH CH EUSANIT PROPER JOB JW Another nice dog of correct size. Good shape to head, very intelligent expression. Strong bone with sloping pastern. His body is compact showing strength all through, with short level back. No doubt he can do the job he was bred for. In excellent condition and well handled.

2^nd	Head EUSANIT RED RABBIT No surprise to read she was litter sister to winner, as many of the same qualities. Good wedge shaped head, strong in neck with deep chest and well ribbed. Level in top line and good tail feathering, moved well.

1^st	Hunt, West & Mcdowell WAKADUZE DOTAME A mature girl of medium size. Her head is the shape required with almond eye. Well muscled neck, deep in chest and excellent topline. Well bent hindquarters and square hock. Jaunty on the move and well handled.
2^nd	Thatcher & Robbins WAKADUZE DUWAMISH Litter sister to winner. Another very nice girl with nice head and expression. Medium length to neck, with strong body all through. Well angulated hind quarters and level topline. Today I just felt the winner was a little more compact in profile but a close decision.

1^st	Adshead AFONBACH SYRAX JW What a super girl this is. Beautiful head with lovely eye shape giving that alert expression. Viewed from the side she is so balanced. Her neck is strong, and body so well proportioned with deep chest, good spring of rib & firm loin. A short back and excellent topline. Her shoulder is well angulated and she has lovely bend of stifle on rear. In super coat with lovely feathering to tail. When asked to move she did so with enthusiasm with good reach on front and drive and rear. This not only won her a first CC but beat her dad for BOB congratulations.
2^nd	Andrews TOLLELKIN DREAM SPRING AT JEMMATEE Another girl I really liked. Although she is on the smaller side of the standard she is beautifuly made. A lovely head and eye. Strong in neck with super topline. Her body shows power all through with correct depth to chest, strong loin. Good angulation on rear and excellent movement completed the picture.

Moderate length to neck on strong body with good depth to chest, excellent rib and correct in loin. She had good angulation on both front and rear and a well feathered tail. Her coat was correct in colour and in good condition. Very well handled and presented and moved in the jaunty style that you expect from the breed. RCC.
