Best Puppy | Camusmor Whattabargin For Ruddyduck | Bradley |
The quality of this breed keeps improving, and it was pleasure to judge them. I would like to thank the exhibitors for the sportsmanlike way they received my decisions and their patience in waiting for the late start, but at least the BOB did not miss the group.
Puppy Dog (5 entries)
A very good class of puppies.
1st | Bradley CAMUSMOR WHATTABARGIN FOR RUDDYDUCK Lovely balanced masculine dog, appealing head and expression, good front and feet, well angulated, correct top-line, in good coat, carried his tail well on the move, moved extremely well, won this class easily, best puppy in breed and pleased to award him Reserve best of sex, this puppy must have an extremely bright future in front of him. |
2nd | Rogers EUSANIT TAKE IT EASY 8 month baby boy, so nice to see puppies enjoying themselves even though it took him a little time to settle on the move, well angulated, good top-line, in good coat, carried his tail well on the moved, moved well eventually. |
3rd | Watkins EUSANIT HEARTACHE TONIGHT Baby boy, missed out on maturity against first and second. Like 1 and 2 well angulated, good top-line, and carrying his tail well on the move, in good coat, moved well. |

Junior Dog (3 entries)
1st | Bradley CAMUSMOR WHATTABARGIN FOR RUDDYDUCK |
2nd | Watkins EUSANIT HEARTACHE TONIGHT |
3rd | Marshall DANEHAVEN CORNWALLIS Masculine, biggish dog, not as well angulated as first and second, tended to carry his tail too gaily, on occasions touching his back, this is a young dog thing which I am sure will sort itself out as he gets older, no doubt the long wait getting into the ring did not help either. Good top-line, moved well. |
Post Graduate Dog (7 entries, 1 absent)
Close decision between first and second, overall a pleasing class.
1st | Burchell PALUDIC PLEASURE TRIP Very balanced dog, appealing head and expression, good eye shape, good front, well-angulated front and rear, good top-line, carried his tail well on the move, moved well. |
2nd | Bradley CAMUSMOR KNOCKANDO AT RUDDYDUCK Good head and expression, good front, well-angulated front and rear, good top-line, moved extremely well, preferred winner's neckline, unlucky to come up against 1. |
3rd | Hutchison DANEHAVEN NICTAUX OF FALLOWFEN Good head, although would have preferred a more masculine expression, nice dark eyes, good neckline, well angulated, well bent stifles, good top-line, coat needed to lay down more than it was, moved with drive and style. |

Open Dog (6 entries)
Super class, full of quality.
1st | Harding & Whitehill NAROD THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM Lovely head and expression, well angulated front and rear, good neckline into a good top-line, good front, bone and feet. In excellent coat, moved extremely well carrying his tail correctly, this dog epitomised for me, what this breed is all about, what an ambassador for the breed, I noted that he had sired quite a few of my winners, including my reserve best dog and the best puppy bitch who was the best puppy's litter sister. He is making a definite stamp on the breed. Pleased to award him Best of Sex and later Best of Breed. |
2nd | Smith CAMUSMOR GLEN SCOTIA AT DALLYVISTA Good head and expression although preferred winner, likewise although well angulated not quite as well angulated as 1, good front, good feet, in good coat, moved extremely well. |
3rd | Edridge CAMUSMOR BRUICHLADDICH AT TILITA SHCM Lovely head and expression, well angulated, good top-line, dripping in coat, moved extremely well, could have beaten his litter brother if in my opinion, he had been carrying less weight. |
